So, this is a shot of Roo's new top front teeth. Why, you ask, would we get her crowns on baby teeth? Because she had decay between her teeth that needed to be drilled out (the cause is a long story). Too much drilling needed, to simply fill the space.
Her permanent teeth are NO WHERE near coming in anytime soon. If we extracted them, it would be a good 2 years before her permanent teeth would come in. It is not possible to have her toothless in that are for almost 2 years as it will cause her speech problems to re-appear. We spent three years in speech and have made remarkable improvements, not about to lose all of that work. So, she has capped front teeth.
