I organized a tour of our local no kill animal shelter for my Daisy Scout troop and their families. We had a huge turnout. Everyone brought something to donate to the shelter which was wonderful! The director introduced us to two of their resident dogs while educating us on the proper way to approach dogs that are not our own, took us on a tour of the kennels and then brought us into the cat room to hang out with and play with the cats.
The tour went great and the kids loved playing with the cats!
